This means that the western state has an upward trend due a regular growth of its regional economy and because is a strategic trade point to the entire country.

Also, Puerto Vallarta, a municipality that belongs to the state, is recognized as one of the most important touristic spots in the Mexican Pacific, bringing a big amount of investment in different aspects. A good example could be the building industry and real estate.
